Comal County Reports 311 New COVID-19 Cases, Eight Hospitalizations July 19-Aug. 4

Comal County reported 311 new cases of COVID-19 today.

In its weekly report, the county said eight COVID-positive patients were hospitalized in the county over the seven-day data collection period.

The total number of cases reported in the county since March 2020 now stands at 34,246. The total number of deceased remains 564.

Some 62.14% of residents are fully vaccinated (two shots).

Data for the percentage of fully vaccinated residents in Comal County now includes all residents ages six months and older.

Public Health is administering Moderna and Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines. Booster vaccines also are available.
