Comal County Reports Seven New COVID-19 Cases, Positivity Rate Drops to 6.4%

Comal County reported seven new cases of COVID-19 today, and its seven-day positivity rate fell to 6.4%.
The seven-day positivity rate for the State of Texas is 7.86%.
Of the new cases reported on Friday, one is confirmed and six are probable.
In a statement, the county said it now has 118 active, confirmed-and-probable cases of the virus. Of them, eight are hospitalized. County hospitals reported caring for four COVID-19 patients. Three are in intensive care and two are on ventilators.
Another 34 recoveries also were reported.
The total number of COVID-19 cases reported in the county now stands at 3,493. The total recovered is 3,259.
