Comal County Tax Office in Sattler to Reopen on June 17

Comal County Tax Office in New Braunfels reopened this morning but its satellite offices in Sattler (Canyon Lake) and Bulverde remain closed.

The county closed all of its tax offices on June 11 after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

Although the New Braunfels office was deep-cleaned and sanitized, it’s running on a skeleton crew while other employees await the results of their COVID-19 tests. There are not enough employees to staff the Sattler and Bulverde offices.

The Sattler office is expected to reopen on Wednesday, June 17.

The Bulverde Annex is closed to foot traffic, but anyone with business there can call Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace upon arrival.
