Residents on Comal County's COVID-19 vaccine standby list should check phones, text and email to learn if they qualify for next week's anticipated vaccine clinic.
Comal County said on Facebook today it expects to receive 4,000 COVID-19 vaccines next week and urged the 12,000 residents who signed up for the ‘standby list’ earlier this week to check their phones, text messages and email for more information.
Vaccines will be administered to residents based on order of registration.
Public Information Officer Cary Zayas said once all 12,000 residents on the standby list are vaccinated the county will reopen its standby list for more registrations.
Residents should check the county’s facebook and website — mycomalcounty.com — for updates.
