Democratic primary candidates will meet with Comal County-area voters from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Feb. 8, at Unitarian Universalists of New Braunfels, 135 Alves Lane.
Attendees are invited to ask questions and share their concerns said Kim Farlow, president of the Democrats of Comal County.
“The candidates have agreed to show up,” she said. “Now is the time for a huge crowd to show up to learn about the candidates’ ideas and their plans to represent you, your neighbors, your friends and family.”
Scheduled to speak are:
- Rosa Theofanis, candidate for Texas’ 3rd Court of Appeals, from 5:30 to 6 p.m.
- Justin Calhoun, candidate for Texas House District 73, from 5:30 to 6 p.m.
- Jinny Suh, candidate for Texas Land Commissioner, from 5:30 to 6 p.m.
- Eddie Rodriguez, candidate for Texas’ 35th U.S. Congressional District, from 6 to 6:30 p.m.
- Carla Brailey, candidate for Texas Lt. Governor, from 6 to 6:30 p.m.
- Beth Payan, candidate for Texas’ 3rd Court of Appeals, from 6 to 6:30 p.m.
- Julia Maldonado, candidate for Texas Supreme Court Place 9, from 6 to 6:30 p.m.
- Carla-Joy Sisco, candidate Texas’ 35th U.S. Congressional District, from 6 to 6:30 p.m.
- Susan Hays, candidate for Texas Agriculture Commissioner, from 6 to 6:30 p.m.
