Comal ISD Offers Free Meals for Students

Distribution will take place at the front of the campus, allowing parents to drive up and pick up the meals without getting out of their car. Parents also do not need to have their child with them or show an ID to pick up a meal.

Comal ISD is offering free meals for all Comal ISD students from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays though Fridays. Breakfast service begins on Tuesday and lasts from 7 to 8:30 a.m.

Participating campuses are:

-Bill Brown Elementary
-Clear Springs Elementary
-Freiheit Elementary
-Goodwin Frazier Elementary
-Kinder Ranch Elementary
-Mountain Valley Elementary
-Morningside Elementary
-Rebecca Creek Elementary
-Specht Elementary
-Startzville Elementary

Distribution will take place at the front of the campus, allowing parents to drive up and pick up the meals without getting out of their car. Parents also do not need to have their child with them or show an ID to pick up a meal.

In addition, parents can pick up a lunch during the morning meal service, as well as pick up a breakfast meal for the following day during the mid-day meal service.

Parents and guardians who currently have a modified meal plan for their child can call the Comal ISD Food Service Department at 830-221-2059 to arrange an alternate meal for pickup.
