Canyon Lake-area students will enjoy one more weather-related day off from school.
Comal ISD declared Monday, Feb. 22 a student holiday and teacher prep day.
“Following the recent winter event, this will give our teachers time to take inventory of their classroom and assist technology and other tools they rely on every day,” the district said on Facebook.
“This will give us an opportunity to prep & adjust,” Comal Isd Superintendent Andrew Kim posted on Twitter. “Realize that this causes inconvenience & I apologize for that. We just need at least one day to get ready. Thank you.”
Plans for early release on Wednesday, Feb. 23, are canceled.
