Comal ISD COVID-19 Positive Cases for Monday, Oct. 18

Church Hill Middle School's PTA, drumline and cheerleaders were sent to get out the vote at carpool Monday, the first day of early voting. Comal ISD is asking voters to approve $527 million in bonds plus a Voter Approved Tax Ratification Election to set a tax rate of $1.2920 per $100 assessed property valuation to fund an increase in teacher salaries.

According to Comal ISD’s COVID-19 dashboard, these are schools with current active positive cases as of 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18.

From Comal ISD:

“TEA Health Operations Guidelines require the district to continue to report any positive cases for which we are notified to both the local health department and the Texas Department of State Health Services.

“Staff members should report their positive test results to their supervisor. Supervisors will complete the positive case report on their behalf. Leave-eligible employees can request a maximum of 5 days (40 hours) of additional paid leave from July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022 by completing an Employee COVID-19 Sick Leave form and providing a physician’s note with dates of missed work.

“Students / Parents can report positive test results to the campus nurse. Nurses will be responsible for completing a Positive Case Report and gathering additional information related to doctor recommendations, sibling quarantine requirements, etc.
