Comal ISD’s Board of Trustees paid special tribute to the district’s 40 school nurses at their monthly meeting on Wednesday.
Over the last 19 months, working as the district’s frontline health care workers, school nurses served students, parents and their communities with professionalism and compassion, Comal ISD said in a statement.
“Their diligence is one of the main reasons the district has been able to continue to teach students in a safe environment,” trustees said.
