Comal Parents Have Until Jan. 15 to Complete Survey on Proposed Calendars for Next School Year

Parents and guardians of Comal ISD students have until Friday to weigh in on two proposed academic calendars for the 2021-22 school year.
A brief online survey outlines two options developed by the Academic Calendar Committee, which is comprised of parents, students, teachers and administrators.
Under Option A, school would begin Aug. 24 and end May 26, 2022. Mid-winter break would run Feb. 18-21, 2022 and the bad weather make-up day would be May 27, 2022.
Under option B, school would begin Aug. 24 and end May 27, 2022. Mid-winter break would run from Feb. 17-21, 2022 and the bad weather make-up day would be May 31, 2022.
Trustees will review the calendars at their January meeting.
