Comal County Commissioners at their weekly meeting Thursday unanimously approved a 2024 joint primary election services contract between the Democratic and Republican parties of Comal County and County elections Officer Bobbie Koepp.
The contract is for the conduct and supervision of the Comal County Joint Primary election on March 5, 2024 and, if necessary, for a Comal County Joint Primary Runoff Election on May 28, 2024.
“I feel that a joint primary best serves our voters in Comal County,” Piner said.
The filing deadline for candidates to run in the primary election is Dec. 11.
