Comal County commissioners will consider funding new signage for Boat Ramp #1 in Pct. 1 at their weekly meeting Thursday morning at the county courthouse.

They’ve scheduled a public hearing to consider installation of regulatory signage for parking at the ramp, located at 579 Skyline Dr. in Canyon Lake Village.

Turn boat ramp access over to local neighborhoods and taxpayers use only. Problem solved! Who decided they must have public access anyway?

Sorry, but why do we need new signs? Already tourists come thru the neighborhood with their boats in the middle of the road, not respectingthe Yellow stripes meant to prevent head on collisions. They stop in the middle of the road or drive way too fast. This is a neighborhood not a park. They can always drop their boats at Jacobs creek or one of the other oarks not.located near private homes. Lets keep our neighborhood safe!
