The Comal County woman who died was in her 80s and died at home last weekend, the county said in a statment. A positive postmortem test was reported to the county's Office of Public Health (OPH) on Thursday, April 9. Her husband, who had been hospitalized in San Antonio with the disease, died overnight Tuesday.

Coronavirus Stay at Home Order
The order also requires the closure of all nonessential businesses, including river outfitters and short-term campgrounds. It comes after the county announced Wednesday that it would begin enforcing Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s statewide executive order mandating stay-at-home restrictions.
