County Mails Voter Registration Cards

Share
Check your mail for an orange-colored voter registration card from Comal County Elections Office.

The Comal County Elections Office began mailing out new voter registration cards to all registered voters this week.

The cards, colored orange, are valid from Jan. 1, 2020 through Dec. 31, 2021, and replace the current yellow cards, which expire at the end of 2019. The cards can be used to confirm registration at the polling place in upcoming elections; however, voters also will need to bring a state-approved form of photo identification to vote.

“We encourage all registered voters to check their cards when they receive them and make sure their information is correct,” said Elections Coordinator Cynthia Jaqua. “If you need to make a change to your card, please note it on the back, sign it and return it to the Elections Office.”

Anyone who has moved, changed their name or has been registered but does not receive a card by the end of December should contact the Elections Office at 830-221-1352 to make sure they are on the list of registered voters for the 2020 elections.
