Comal County poured the foundation today for a new building that will house its Public Health, Emergency Management, Indigent Health, Veteran Services, Human Resources and Purchasing departments.
The 33,685-square-foot facility will sit next to the current Public Health office, which will be demolished, on Church Hill Drive.
Construction begins Nov. 6.
“We’re thrilled to invest in this new space that will make it easier to deliver essential services to our community,” spokesperson Cary Zayas said on social media.
