County Reports Nine new Cases of COVID-19, Positivity Rate’s 10.12%

Residents wishing to be tested for COVID-19 can call the county’s dedicated hotline, 830-221-1120, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Comal County reported nine new cases of COVID-19 today, bringing the total number of cases confirmed in the county since March to 3,475.

Of the nine new cases, four are confirmed and five.

The county now has 134 active-and-probable COVID-19 cases. Of them, nine are hospitalized. The seven-day positivity rate for Wednesday is 10.12%.

An additional 26 COVID-19 recoveries were reported.

There are no cases in nursing homes.

Wednesday’s Statistics

As of Wednesday morning, Public Health has received reports of the following test information:

  • 25,065 tests conducted
  • 2,748 confirmed cases
  • 727 probable cases

    The mask is required in businesses.
    If you can’t breathe correctly with it, then get deliveries or pick-up items you need!
    It’s just that simple. And takes using Common Sense!

    On the spreading of the virus:

    If everyone would wear a mask. And wear it CORRECTLY,(Covering the Nose also) the spread would definitely be reduced significantly !!!!
