Courtesy Dock at Boat Ramp #23 Closes Oct. 26-30, Ramp to Remain Open

The courtesy dock at Comal County Boat Ramp #23, shown here as A4, will close for repairs later this month.
Comal County is closing the courtesy dock at Boat Ramp #23 for repairs Oct. 26-30.
The boat ramp itself will not close. The courtesy dock is for loading and offloading recreationalists who coast their boats up to the ramp.
Comal County Road Superintendent Gene Szakacsy said the county will replace surfacing on the deck.
The county made the announcement on Facebook Oct. 18.
Boat Ramp #23 is located on N. Cranes Mill Road on the northside of Canyon Lake off FM 306. It features three-lane concrete ramp with parking for 40 vehicles and 30 trailers, and is open year-round, free-of-charge.
