Disaster Declaration
Comal County reported its first case of COVID-19 today and County Judge Sherman Krause issued a disaster declaration.

"This is a dynamic situation, but as the fire service, this is what we plan and prepare for," Fire Chief Darren Brinkkoeter, Assistant Fire Chief Robert Mikel, and Division Chief, EMS Brandon Kludt said in a statement issued Monday.

Cheryl Fraser, Comal County's director of Public Health, said her office is emphasizing caution, not panic, but urges residents to limit close contact with others.
Distribution will take place at the front of the campus, allowing parents to drive up and pick up the meals without getting out of their car. Parents also do not need to have their child with them or show an ID to pick up a meal.
