Incumbent Comal County Commissioner, Pct. 4 beat challengers G. Ted Ballard and Jeanne Slupik in the March 6 Republican Texas primary election, earning 65.63 percent of the vote with 3, 596 voters casting ballots in her favor.

Crownover celebrated her victory at Goofy’s.

“#DILLYDILLY! Thank you to ALL the #FRIENDSOFTHECROWN for helping this happen for another 4 years!!!” she posted on her Facebook page March 6.

Returns showed 22,307 of Comal County’s 95,353 voters cast ballots in the primary.Ballard won 12.47 percent of the vote with 683 votes and Slupik received 21.90 percent of the vote with 1,200 votes cast.
