CRRC Food Pantry in Dire Need of Veggies

CRRC Food Pantry
I try to keep a well-stocked pantry for our clients. I try to keep a good mix of items. I try to keep enough on hand so we don’t run out.
But it’s a fine line in-between those attempts. Sometimes the San Antonio Food Bank (SAFB) runs out of items that we normally stock here. If I haven’t purchased enough of the product to get through the “lean times” at SAFB, we run out when they run out.
That line has gotten a little trickier for me lately. We’re trying to keep just enough so we don’t have to (literally) move tons of food over to our new facility (sometime in the next month or so!). And I have to admit to you, I missed the boat on three items:
Canned green beans, canned spinach and/or carrots.
Donations can be dropped off at 1917 FM2673 in Sattler/Canyon Lake. For more information, call 830-964-2324.
Since many of you are wondering, it looks like we’ll be moving into our new building next month! Others of you have offered to help us move. (What are you? Nuts?!!) Thank you. We will let you know.
We are very excited about all the new services we will be able to eventually offer to Canyon Lake residents.
And yes. We do have naming opportunities in it if you are thinking about making a donation toward the project.
