CRRC of Canyon Lake needs to raise $16,000 by Dec. 31 to sustain its core programs through the holidays and the first half of 2026.

Executive Director Tiffany Quiring said funds are needed to help Canyon Lake residents put food on the table, prevent evictions, and keep families safe.

The community is “struggling under the weight of rising costs,” she said in a letter.

“Without meeting our fundraising goal, our budget will enter 2026 on pins and needles, forcing us into a mindset of scarcity when what this community needs most is abundance,” Quiring said.

In 2025, the nonprofit made ends meet by strengthening partnerships, expanding volunteer roles, and extending pantry hours — “but the cost of doing good has gone up for us, too.”

The nonprofit hopes to hit its $65,000 total.

On Dec. 16, The McKenna Foundation presented the CRRC with the People’s Choice Award after more than 300 residents nominated it for an end-of-year grant.
