Dam Road to Reopen Soon, Crownover Says

Canyon Lake-area County Commissioner and Dam Community Alliance organizer Jen Crownover says it's happening soon.

Update: A Grand Reopening Celebration is now scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27 at Overlook Park.
“We know the community is getting excited about the service road being reopened to pedestrian access….and we are almost there.
“We’re finishing up some work (on the bump stops, and on the gate itself) and working out some details, but we know the grand reopening will be the last week of August!
“As soon as the details are finalized in the next several days, we will let you know.
“It’s going to be a big party, and you’re all invited.”
