Don’t Forget to Raise the Woof!

Buy a doghouse at Raise the Woof from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2 at Krause’s Biergarten and Cafe,148 S. Castell Ave., New Braunfels.

(The dog houses, cat condos and other pet furniture are already on display at McKenna Children’s Museum.)

The auction and event supports Canine Classmates, a local, non-profit that promotes children’s literacy in elementary schools using reading dogs to improve students’ skills and confidence to create a love of reading and learning.

Featured, and up for auction at Raise the Woof, are dog houses, cat condos, and pet furniture designed and built by residents interested in supporting the cause.

Games and prizes for kids — lots of fun for adults, as well.
