Don’t Park in Fire Lanes at Overlook Park, USACE Warns

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Canyon Lake staff are working to keep Overlook Park "safe and enjoyable" during the busy summer season.
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ (USACE) Canyon Lake staff asks the public to avoid parking in the newly painted fire lanes at Overlook Park.
Offenders will be immediately towed or ticketed as USACE steps up efforts to control crowds and keep traffic free-flowing in areas marked as fire lanes.
“The end goal is to make Overlook Park safe and enjoyable for the public while also accessible for emergency response vehicles to include the helicopter landing zone,” USACE said on Facebook.
