Turnout Described as ‘Strong’ for Early Voting

Turnout for early voting remained strong as of Friday. On Tuesday voters will have a chance to vote at any Vote Center in the county.

Early voting for the Nov. 5 constitutional amendments election ended on Friday, and Comal County officials descibe turnout as ‘strong’ athough well below the numbers seen in presidential and gubernatorial election years.

On Oct. 28, Comal County officials reported that early voting turnout has been well above 2017 numbers – as in 250-500 percent higher each day, and already more than double the total number of in-person early voters for the entire 2017 election.
