Early voting for the Nov. 4 uniform election begins Monday, Oct. 20 and ends Friday, Oct. 31.
On the ballot are 17 proposed state constitutional amendments, and local and special elections.
Comal County residents can vote at any polling location:
- Comal County Elections Office, 396 N. Seguin Ave., New Braunfels. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 20-24, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 25, noon to 6 p.m. Oct. 28 and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 27-31.
- St. Francis by the Lake, large room, 121 Spring Mountain Dr., Canyon Lake. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 20-24, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 25, noon to 6 p.m. Oct. 26, and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 27-31.
- Mammen Family Public Library, Room A, 131 Bulverde Crossing, Bulverde. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 20-24, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 25, noon to 6 p.m. Oct. 26, and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 27-31.
- Comal County Offices, Goodwin Annex Training Room, 1297 Church Hill Dr., New Braunfels. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 20-24, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 25, noon to 6 p.m. Oct. 26, and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 27-31. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 20-24, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 25, noon to 6 p.m. Oct. 26, and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 27-31.
- Comal County Offices, Bulverde Annex JP #2 Courtroom, 30470 Cougar Bend, Bulverde. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 20-24, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 25, noon to 6 p.m. Oct. 26, and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 27-31.
- Garden Ridge City Hall, Municipal Court Room, 9400 Municipal Parkway, Garden Ridge. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 20-24, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 25, noon to 6 p.m. Oct. 26, and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 27-31.
Voters will need one of seven photo IDs at the polls even if it’s expired up to four years and unlimited for ages 70-plus:
- Texas driver’s license
- Texas Election ID certificate (EIC)
- Texas personal ID card (DPS)
- U.S. military ID w/photo
- U.S. citizenship certificate with photo
- U.S. passport (book or card)
Residents can still vote by signing a form and showing another document with their name and address (like a voter registration card, birth certificate, utility bill, paycheck, bank statement, or government document).
A student ID is not a form of valid voter ID.
