He’s making the rounds all over Gruene, New Braunfels and Canyon Lake. If you hop fast, you won’t miss out on any Easter fun.
Wednesday
The fun begins 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 12 at EGG Stravaganza, hosted by New Braunfels Parks and Recreation at the Landa Recreation Center, 110 Golf Course Rd., New Braunfels. Cost is $4 per person to dye and decorate eggs. Register by calling 830-221-4370 or visit nbtexas.org/signup.
Friday
The bunny’s next scheduled appearance is 4th Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt, 6:30 p.m. April 14 at Hidden Valley Sports Park, Mabel Jones Drive in Canyon Lake. Bring a flashlight. The Easter Egg Hunt begins at 7 p.m. for kids ages six and under. Older kids wait until dark! Hot dogs, drinks and chips $1 each. Sponsored by Canyon Lake Youth Soccer Club.
Saturday
Bet you’ve never seen Easter eggs dropped out of a helicopter! First Annual Easter Egg Hunt fundraiser sponsored by Guardian of the Children Hill Country Chapter raises awareness of child abuse. Food, games, bounce houses, face-painting and an Easter egg hunt. Bring the family to Gruene Harley-Davidson.
Bet you’ve never seen 20,000 Easter eggs dropped out of a helicopter! Gruene UMC’s Helicopter Easter Egg Hunt at 10:30 a.m. promises to be a winner, too.
Saturday and Sunday
He’ll also deliver a basket full of love from Yogi Bear, Cindy Bear and Boo Boo Easter weekend at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Canyon Lake. Celebrate Easter with age-appropriate egg hunts, site-decorating contest and cute spring crafts. All-you-can-eat pancake breakfast on Sunday mornings. Click here to see a schedule. The bunny’s also planned a busy weekend at Blastenhoff (east section of Schlitterbahn) is open for Easter weekend at Schlitterbahn.
Special Saturday activities include an Easter egg hunt with prizes, Easter games, and continental breakfast with mimosas.
