Canyon Lake kids can hippity-hoppity with the Easter bunny at several area venues this month.
An Egg Hunt & Easter Bunny Pictures is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Maven’s Inn & Grill, 10530 FM 2673, Canyon Lake.
An Easter Egg Hunt runs from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Spring Creek Gardens, 11355 U.S. Highway 281 N., Spring Branch.
Preschoolers and elementary students will enjoy separate Easter egg hunts and a chance to meet the famous bunny. Kids can paint wooden Easter eggs at special craft stations afterward. The craft is $3.
Cowboys for Jesus, an area church located at 8400 FM 32 in Fisher, hosts a Community Easter Egg Hunt from 3 to 6 p.m. April 16. Kids ages 11 and younger are invited to hunt for 5,000 hidden eggs. Door prizes for each age group along with hot dogs, chips and water — while supplies last.
VFW Post 7110 Easter Egg Hunt, 600 Peace Ave. in New Braunfels, begins at 10 a.m. April 16. Includes pictures with the Easter Bunny and hot dogs. Times are 10 a.m. for children ages 1-3, 10:20 a.m. for kids 4-7, and 10:40 a.m. for kids ages 8 to 15.
