The Easter Bunny will be very busy in Canyon Lake this weekend — and next!
Here’s where to find him:
- Easter Egg Hunt & Fish Fry – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 12 at North Shore United Methodist Church, 23880 N. Cranes Mill Rd. Bring family and friends for a day of food, fun and outdoor games. Egg hunt starts at 11:15 a.m. Lunch follows at 11:30 a.m. For more information contact Kathy Jordan at children@northshore-umc.org.
- Easter Eggstravaganza Community Outreach Event- 2-3 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at Canyon Lake United Methodist Church, 206 Flintstone Dr., Canyon Lake.
- Free Public Easter Egg Hunt – 5 p.m. Saturday, April 12 at The Local Beer and Wine Garden, 6518 FM 311, Spring Branch. Includes Egg hunt, prizes, petting zoo, inflatables, live music, food truck and family entertainment. For kids 10 and under, but all ages can enjoy the festivities.
- Fun-filled Easter Weekend — Friday-Sunday April 18-20 at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp Resort Hill Country, 12915 FM 306, Canyon Lake. Features egg hunt, Easter crafts and a ‘magical’ Easter experience.
- Easter Egg Stravaganza at Authentic Canyon Lake – Saturday, April 19 at Authentic Canyon Lake, 18200 FM 306 suite 120, Canyon Lake. Unleash your inner artist by creating your own Easter bonnet and painting your own watercolor card.
- FBCCL Easter Eggstravaganza – 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 19 at First Baptist Church, 13085 FM 306, Canyon Lake. Food, fun games, giveaways and an egg hunt.
- Golf Cart Decorating Contest & Parade – 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 19 at JBSA Rec Park at Canyon Lake, 698 Jacobs Creek Park Rd., Canyon Lake. Egg hunt at 12:30 p.m. Egg-citing morning of creativity. Decorate your cart with Easter-themed decorations like bunnies, eggs and flowers. Parade follows to show off festive carts. JBSA is open to active-duty service members and Department of Defense cardholders (including dependents, retirees and civilian employees).
- Easter Egg Hunt & Petting Zoo – 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 19 at Comal Park, 1178 Comal Park Rd., Canyon Lake. Petting zoo opens at 10:30 a.m. with easter egg hunt at noon. Bring your baskets and get ready to hunt for eggs filled with surprises. Normal entrance fees apply.
- Annual Easter Egg Hunt – 11 a.m. Saturday, April 19 at Cowboys for Jesus Fellowship, 8400 FM 32, Fischer.
