911 Remembrance Walk @ Canyon Lake Dam | Canyon Lake | Texas | United States

Join  friends and neighbors at Canyon Lake Dam for a walk across the dam honoring those who have given their lives for freedom, those who have served, and those first responders who currently serve.

Bring American flag, wear red, white and blue — cold water served. Shaded seating available. Shuttle bus provided to the top of the dam. No protests or campaigning allowed.

Service includes:

  • The music of Peaches Kelley
  • Comal County Sheriff’s Honor Guard
  • Bagpiper Bill Jones
  • Commemorative U.S. Air Force flyover
  • Water Escort by HCYC & local boaters
  • “Freedom Bell” by Capt. Bob & CLRW volunteers (rings for each American killed on 911)
  • “Taps” by George Menefee, on bugle
