38th Annual Canyon Lake Christmas Parade
Enjoy the biggest parade in Comal County, which begins and ends along a 1.5-mile stretch on FM 2673 in Sattler.
The parade kicks off with a Commemorative Air Force Flyover. It includes residents, local dignitaries, marching bands, antique cars, hot rods, horses and Shriners. Weather permitting, Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive last in the Wells Fargo stagecoach.
Comal ISD Superintendent Andrew Kim makes an appearance as grand marshal of the annual parade.
Prizes and awards for best car, best commercial, best non-commercial, best Biblical theme and more. Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive last in the Wells Fargo Stagecoach.
Parade organizer Canyon Lake Noon Lions Club will pass out suckers along the parade route.
Other sponsors include Wells Fargo Bank, GVTC, Brookshire Bros. and Lowe’s Market.
Over 60 area residents are members of The Canyon Lake Noon Lions Club, chartered on March 21, 1977. Lions are best-known for their sight-related programs, including SightFirst, the world’s largest blindness-prevention program.
