Saturday night is shaping up to be a great evening for astronomy. The forecast is for clear skies and thanks to the time change, the program starts at 6:30 p.m,
The club sets up multiple telescopes for viewing different objects in the night sky. If it’s cloudy, there will still be a presentation inside.
This week’s featured guests: Andromeda Galaxy (M31), Double Open Star Cluster in Perseus, Ursa Minor (Little Dipper), Hercules Globular Cluster M13, Pegasus Cluster M15, Planet Uranus, Spiral Galaxy M34, and the Triangulon Galaxy M33.
Tye Preston Memorial Library has an observatory and a Celestron Schmidt Cassegrain telescope.
Tye Preston Memorial Library is located at 16311 S. Access Rd., Canyon Lake.
