Automotive Care for Women

Faye Hadley, owner of Pistons and PixieDust, teaches an abbreviated version of her ‘underhood’ basics class. Learn how to ‘check the vitals’ at this lunch-and-learn at Tye Preston Memorial Library, 16311 S. Access Rd., Canyon Lake.

“I am teaching a free mini-class called ‘checking the vitals’ where we go over the most important (I think!) items under the hood. No prior car experience necessary! Women of all ages welcome.

“Dress to get dirty! We will be checking our oil, tire pressure, and tread depth and will be getting our hands under the hoods. Gloves and rags will be provided, but definitely wear closed-toed shoes, have long hair pulled back, and remove all jewelry!”
