Democratic Women of Comal County (DWCC) welcome Helen Ballew, conservation activist, who will speak about efforts to protect The Devil’s Backbone in Comal County.
With a master’s degree from Yale University in field ecology, Ballew serves in executive capacities for The Nature Conservancy in Texas, the Hill Country Foundation, and the Headwaters at Incarnate Word (San Antonio River).
She is vice president of the Comal County Conservation Alliance.
