Event Details

Comal Conservation hosts ‘The Nature of Our Economy,’ a look at how the natural systems that define Comal County also fuel its $700 million a year tourism economy.

The forum will examine how development will affect the county’s growing economy.

Former New Braunfels Mayor Rusty Brockman, a community relations coordinator with Cemex, moderates the forum.

Other speakers include Matthew Hoyt, Comal Conservation board member and owner of Corner Tubes; Joni Carswell, CEO and president of Texan by Nature; and Shane Wolf, past president of the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce and Wurstfest director.

Comal Conservation educates, engages, and encourages the community to become involved in preserving land, water, and wildlife.
