State Rep. Kyle Biedermann, D-73, and State Rep. Erin Zwiener, D-45, host a town hall meeting to discuss these propositions on the Nov. 5 ballot:
Proposition 2 – Authorizes Texas Water Board to issue bonds for water-and-sewer projects in economically depressed areas.
Proposition 5 — Ensures the existing sporting-goods sales tax will go to Texas Parks and Wildlife (TPWD) and the Texas Historical Commission for protecting natural areas, water quality and history.
Proposition 8 — Creates funding for infrastructure for drainage, flood-mitigation and flood-control projects including “green infrastructure” projects using undeveloped land for flood mitigation.
