Expect Partial Closure on South Access Road

One lane of South Access Road between Canyon Dam outlet and FM 306 will be closed from Monday, July 15 to Wednesday, July 17.
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers says it will close one lane of South Access Road between Canyon Dam Outlet and FM 306 for erosion repairs on Monday, July 15.
The work is expected to be completed by Wednesday, July 17. Traffic will be managed with traffic barriers and flaggers.
“We realize that the partial road closure will cause some slow-downs and inconvenience and we appreciate the patience and understanding of everyone impacted as we perform this necessary repair work,” said Javier Perez Ortiz, Canyon Lake Manager. “We ask that vehicle operators utilize extra caution and comply with our traffic control personnel to ensure the safety of everyone.”
