Flu Vaccines Available

Comal County residents can protect themselves against the flu — vaccines are now available at the county’s Public Health Office.
The Public Health Office offers vaccines for both children and adults by appointment in the county’s Goodwin Annex, 1297 Church Hill Drive, New Braunfels.
Those interested in getting their flu shot should call 830-221-1150 for more information or to schedule an appointment. The Public Health Office accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicaid, CHIP and cash.
“The best time to be vaccinated is before flu starts showing up in our community,” said Gwen Mills, Comal County director of public health. “We recommend that everyone over six-months-old receive flu shots every year to keep themselves and their families healthy.”
