Follow-Up: Fundraiser Nets $1,600 for CRRC

The gorgeous sunset and view from Canyon Lake Presbyterian's stone patio were as big an attraction as the chili and live music at Wednesday night's Turkeys to Tables fundraiser for Community Resource and Recreation Center of Canyon Lake's food pantry.

The Canyon Lake community came together for a wonderful evening of support for the CRRC Food Pantry on Wednesday night. Canyon Lake Presbyterian Church invited its neighbors to help fund the CRRC Thanksgiving turkey drive.
They showed up in numbers with empty stomachs, dancing shoes and full hearts!
The church provided a free meal and lots of homemade desserts for sale.
Larry Read and Robbie Lava provided the entertainment, and mother nature provided a perfect brisk fall evening complete with a colorful sunset. The event raised just over $1600 for the Community Resource and Recreation Center of Canyon Lake’s (CRRC) food pantry.
The folks at Canyon Lake Presbyterian Church are honored to live and serve in such a caring community.
