Food IQ- Summer Cooking Camp

Join Comal County ESD No. 2 and 3 (Canyon Lake Fire / EMS) as we host the San Antonio Food Bank (SAFB) – Nutrition, Health & Wellness Division presents “Food IQ- Summer Cooking Camp!” Children will learn fun cooking activities to understand where our food is coming from and the cultural diversity of food. Children learn how they can produce delicious recipes that are good for our health. They will gain basic cooking skills to safely make foods at home and feel more confident in the kitchen. The SAFB Food IQ- Summer Cooking Camp team is a diverse group of nutritional professionals, certified chefs, physical activity specialists, and master gardeners all ready to teach in our community! One educator will be coming to Tye Preston Memorial Library on Thursday, June 8th, 2017 to provide a fun and interactive class. We look forward to seeing you there!
