Forecasters with WGRFC Eye Flooding Concerns Over the Next Several Days

The U.S. National Weather Service’s West Gulf River Forecast Center says it will keep a watchful eye on the potential for flooding along the Guadalupe River over the next several days.

Up to three inches of rain is predicted in south central Texas through the remainder of the week.

Current soil-moisture values are extremely dry for the vast majority of Texas according to NASA.

“WGRFC forecasters will watch for flooding concerns as rainfall compounds throughout the week,” the agency said.
