Canyon Lake welcomes Fredericksburg to the Hawk Nest at 7:30 p.m. Friday as both teams share their first place status with Lampasas atop District 28-4A play.

The winner will certainly be entrenched with a play-off spot with a chance of a first or second seed heading into post-season play.

Both schools have two common opponents that had the same result….a loss to Wimberley and wins over Taylor.

This Billie team comes into this contest with a strong offense averaging 31 points per contest and a 3 game winning streak.

Bastrop Cedar Creek has been the only game that had less than 20 points scored for Fredericksburg who has played against several big time schools. Thus far Fredericksburg’s opponents have 25-22 record and taking out a woeful Taylor Duck’s team, that record is a very respectable 25-15.
