CRRC of Canyon Lake’s annual Family Fest for Canyon Lake students runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2 at CRRC’s Recreation Center, 125 Mabel Jones Dr.
Over 200 backpacks, school supplies and free services like back-to-school haircuts will be provided.
Family Fest helps families start the school year prepared with the necessities they need without worrying about the increasing costs of supplies.
CRRC says it has a few new surprises in store, too.
“Not only will we have giveaways for families that attend, but we are working with other community partners to offer free services such as no-cost haircuts, face-painting and many other fun activities for the entire family,” the nonprofit said.
