Wimberley Community Chorus presents a special outdoor Christmas concert at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 10 and 7 p.m. Dec. 12  at Emily Ann Theater’s Trail of Lights, 1101 Ranch Rd 2325, Wimberley.

The festive event includes an audience sing-a-long, hot chocolate and s’mores.

“We look forward to seeing you in the audience as we rekindle the spirit of Christmas in song under the beautiful dark skies of Wimberley,” said Publicity Chair Pat Rawlings.

The Chorus Board initially decided to cancel the annual performance due to COVID-19 but changed its mind after much discussion.

“After many years of more formal, inside concerts, we are truly breaking the mold by performing outside after a reduced, fully masked rehearsal season,” she said. “Our first priority to our members and to you is safety and this outdoor concert by our 100% vaccinated chorus allows us to sing loud and clear, celebrating this very special season. The joy we already feel in rehearsals will be contagious in this unique environment.”
