Kara Bliss Band is described as “a touch of old school with modern sass.” Bliss, Austin Haller (piano), Andy Beaudoin (drums), and Pat Harris (bass) reinvent jazz standards and other finds from the American songbook to offer an enchanting mix of nostalgia and surprise.

Bliss has performed opera, jazz, musical theater and rock-and-roll, and has and won numerous awards for music and theater performance in her hometown of Austin.

She hails from a family of musicians and was recently elected to the Lockhart City Council.

Haller anchors the band with his stunning piano playing. He is a full-time musician, playing, orchestrating and music directing for many local theaters and institutions, including Conspirare, Texas State University, Austin Cabaret Theatre, and Austin Shakespeare.

Harris is an accomplished bassist, composer, and teacher with an active touring and performance schedule with some of the most innovative bands in Texas. Beaudoin is a versatile percussionist who stays busy performing with groups across many genres, as well as working as a studio musician and instructor.
