Anglers are free to launch from anywhere on the lake at any time, but must register at the marina for livewell checks and release of boats by the tournament director.

Thursday Nighters is one of the largest weeknight tournament series in the country, drawing some 75 teams and paying out up to $4,500 on a weeknight.

Thursday Nighters sponsors weekly giveaways. Prizes are awarded for top anglers.

Summer tournaments end the last Thursday in July.

According to the Thursday Nighters website, “These events were organized not just for the purpose of fishing a tournament, but as a venue for like-minded individuals with  similar interests to gather once a week to share knowledge, build friendships, but mainly to enjoy themselves as many anglers will hang around long after weigh in. Of course there is also more than $4,500 in guaranteed money at our end of the year championship as well as an Angler of the Year title to fish for.”
