The forecast is “great” for rafting this weekend, the forecast center said. This weekend’s precipitation forecast consists of largely dry weather for central and South Texas.
However, On Tubing the Guadalupe River, a Facebook page popular with recreationalists, the sunny forecast also includes a warning that flows on the river are actually low for this time of year.
“Have fun, and go early to avoid the crowds, and be sure to contact your tube-rental service before heading out to ask how long it will take to complete the float,” the page administrator suggested.
Tubing the Comal River Facebook page reports flows are typical for this time of year –“so it should be a good time for tubing. Remember to leave the cans at home or you could get a ticket.”
