Guadalupe County Reports 566 Active Cases, 24 Hospitalizations at GRMC

Twenty-four patients are being treated for COVID-19 at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center.

Guadalupe County’s Office of Emergency Management today reported an estimated 566 active cases of COVID-19 and said 24 patients are being treated for the virus at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center in Seguin.

In a statement, the county said there have been 16,734 estimated total cases since reporting on COVID-19 began last year. Another 15,943 recoveries were reported.

The county said it has administered 135,812 doses of COVID-10 vaccine. Some 77,965 residents have received at least one dose, and 67,966 people are fully vaccinated.

Sinc the start of the pandemic, 249 deaths have been reported to Guadalupe County Emergency Management by Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS).
