Hawks Baseball Continues Strong Run in Loss to Boerne

Canyon Lake could not pull off an upset in their game with Boerne on Friday after losing their lead in the 5th inning, falling, 3-1 to the Greyhounds.
Putting things into perspective, the lake has not had a lot of success with Boerne and by the way this contest finished it did show that the Hawks are improving as they make their push during this 2nd round of District 28-4A play.
“Coach Lancaster and I are very proud of the boys and the direction of our program,” Head Coach Victor Escamilla said. “We can’t always measure the progress of a program on wins and losses! We are competing with our district rivals more so this year than in the past, including last year. Our boys will continue to work hard.”
