Horak Family Supplies MVMS Classroom

We’re a couple of weeks away from the start of the school year and teachers are starting to get their classrooms ready for students.

That means another year our teachers will make not only an emotional investment but also a financial investment in our kids. Teachers often spend their own money on classroom supplies and materials to ensure that students do not miss out on learning.

However, Mrs. Johnson’s classroom at Mountain Valley Middle School will have all the supplies needed for the entire year due to the exceptional efforts of the Horak family and those who contributed.

A heartfelt thank you to the Horak family for their generous donation to Mrs. Johnson’s classroom for students with special needs at Mountain Valley Middle School.

Thank you so much to Layne Horak for his tireless efforts in making this happen! Layne, whose brother, Rylee, is one of Mrs. Johnson’s students reached out to his church, the 4-H club, and the surrounding community, to join in helping our students with special needs.

This donation will be used for classroom materials, snacks, and other items, ensuring our students will be headed off to a good start this year.
